Extension springs
Extension springs
Tension springs are called springs, which, by the nature of their work, work under tension and perceive a longitudinal-axial load, which stretches the spring as a whole. When removing the load, the spring takes the initial position – it is tightened.
By the nature of the design of the ends are mainly divided into two types:
- springs without rings, screwable when installed on special screw plugs;
- springs with rings of various configurations.
The manufacture of tension springs is carried out by the method of winding with subsequent thermal and mechanical processing, which allows you to give the product the required characteristics. To consolidate the specified properties and increase the cyclical endurance of the product are subjected to technological stretching or overvolting. The method of processing products is selected on the basis of operating conditions and metal grade.
