Compression springs

Compression springs are springs that, by the nature of the work, work in compression and perceive longitudinal-axial loads that compress the spring as a whole. Cylindrical coil springs made of round steel wire are most widely used, and springs are made from materials of different profiles: square and rectangular.

Compression springs are divided into:

  • Cylindrical
  • Conic with a constant and variable step and a tilt angle
  • Figured (prismatic, barrel-shaped, etc.)
